Many Safari companies will be participating at the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition - ADIHEX (Abu Dhabi 2009), as it serves as an indispensible marketing opportunity for them.
“Safari is a distinct type of sport and tourism, which many countries are famous for. Since it is part of our life and history, it has a wide following in Arab countries,” said Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Director of ADIHEX.
“There are many groups of Safari travellers roaming via traditional means of transport, using camels and tents to enjoy their safari trips,” explained Qubaisi.
“Because ADIHEX believes in reviving beautiful traditions and customs, a special area was allocated to companies and institutions that are broadly active in Safari trips, to help them realise their objectives and to inform the world of our heritage and rooted Arab traditions,” he added.
ADIHEX 2009 will witness the participation of some 28 Safari companies from 15 countries, including UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Mauritania, Turkey, UK, Germany, Spain, Argentine, Australia, China, South Africa, Namibia, Tanzania, and Zimbabwe.
The Exhibition will be held on September 30th - October 3rd, 2009 under the slogan “Deep-rooted Heritage and Sustainable Hunting.”
ADIHEX, held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Ruler in the Western Region and Chairman of Emirates Falconers Club (EFC), is organized by EFC, with support of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH).
