The Organising Committee of the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition - ADIHEX (Abu Dhabi 2009) announced that it will include the competition to prepare Arabic coffee in traditional way during the event, held on the 30th of September to the 3rd of October 2009.
The deadline for accepting all participations will be on the 1st of September, 2009.
“The competition is part of our efforts to preserve Arab heritage where coffee holds a prominent place,” said Saeed Al Kaabi, Director of Production Department at Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH).
“With its scent and taste, it reflects a part of our history, customs and heritage. Its fire, usually outside tents, symbolises generosity and hospitality,” he added.
