Emirates Falconers’ Club formed a judging committee consisting of UAE and international experts in the field of falcons and their breeding. Participating falcons are accurately evaluated according to various qualifications; such as weight, measures of the bird's body, in addition to their feather's consistency and colour, and details of the bird's head, body and legs. Participating falcons are evaluated as well according to the beauty of their general look, as well as their health and being free of diseases.
Mr. Abdullah Batti Al Qubaisi, Director of Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (Abu Dhabi 2014) affirmed that the extensive participation of GCC companies and exhibiters in the upcoming exhibition constitutes a great push forward for the event, and reflects the depth of the special relationships between GCC countries. The participating Gulf companies have expressed their deep contentment at the extent of support and consideration given to them by the Organizing Committee of the Exhibition uniting the GCC countries' efforts to protect the sports of their ancestors, and promote the concept of the sustainable hunting.
ABU DHABI - Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region (Al Gharbia) and Chairman of the Emirates Falconer‘s Club, and with the support of the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi, the 12th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2014), organised by the Emirates Falconer‘s Club, will be held from the 10th to the 13th of September.
As a part of the promotional campaign of Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition in order to attract more exhibitors and visitors from around the world, the organizing committee continues a series of participations in various specialized international exhibitions, as it has completed several successful and fruitful participations in a number of the most important specialized international exhibitions, specially its effective attendance in 7 specialized exhibitions in various types of hunting and equestrian in Germany. The most important of these exhibitions was IWA, the international trade fair for hunting and sport shooting equipment that was held in Nuremberg city last March where many partnerships contracts were concluded with German and European companies that will participate in Abu Dhabi’s for the first time, in addition to similar exhibitions in each of Switzerland and Austria.
